The Dream Crawler (Early Prototype)

Thank you for visiting this page. The Dream crawler is an action-RPG roguelike that I've been designing/prototyping for years. It's my dream project (pun intended :)).It has finally reached a point where I don't feel completely ashamed of sharing the prototype with somebody, so if you are willing to give this early (VERY early) prototype of the game a try, this is the right place.

I've played games since I was a kid (Started on the amiga back in the late 90's) and never stopped. This game tries to incorporate all the best parts of the best game I've played across the years with its own twist. Diablo, Don't starve, Slay The Spire, The Witcher, Rogue, Morrowind, The Binding of Isaac are some of them... if you have played some of those games and liked them, chances are you will end up liking The Dream Crawler when it's finished, one day :)

My goal is to upload a new release every month with new content, gameplay adjustments, bug fixes etc here, trying to listen as much as possible to your suggestions and feedback, and giving priority to the things that annoys you the most.

You will notice that there's no tutorial or explanation or guided playthrough whatsoever. That is because it's supposed to be a very accessible and simple game to pick up, but at the same time spark a ton of curiosity out of players.

At this stage there is not a lot to do in the world. But you can navigate around, slay zombies, explore a couple of "interesting" areas and hopefully get a feeling of what the core loop of the game feels like. Hopefully this is enough for me to start gathering feedback from the community and integrate that feedback into the game.  

I haven't been optimizing the game a lot, so expect the framerate to be quite poor in a lot of circumstances.
